This charming mare lives up to her name: Feines Mädchen impresses with an honest and balanced temperament, impeccable behavior in handling, and a loving connection to humans. She loves closeness and attention – a true cuddle partner who approaches her person with noticeable affection.
Feines Mädchen has been with us in training since the end of June 2025, after previously living with her owner in Spain, where she was trained up to the advanced level (S). Due to a health limitation of her owner, the mare was mainly ridden out in the field during the last six months. Despite this break, she impresses with her uncomplicated nature; after just a few days, she playfully offers lessons at the advanced level (S) again.
Her three very good basic gaits provide excellent riding comfort, especially for amateurs who value a reliable, finely rideable horse. In daily work, she always shows herself to be motivated and attentive – at the same time, she is uncomplicated in pasture management and very people-oriented in handling.
In the video, we intentionally show only the lessons that she currently offers easily and joyfully. It is noticeable that she currently lacks the strength for some of the advanced lessons (e.g., pirouettes and changes). Our goal is to strengthen her gently and build her up purposefully – her will and motivation give us a very positive outlook for the future.
An older veterinary check from when she was 4 years old is available. At that time, an innocuous chip was found on her front right, which has never affected her. New current X-rays have been taken for comparison and show no changes from the images taken at the age of four. Additionally, we would like to openly and transparently point out that she came to us with some hairless spots on her face – the hair is already slowly growing back, but the spots are still clearly visible at the moment.
Our wish is to find a loving home for Feines Mädchen, where she receives attention and love – exactly what she also gives back with her personality.
